There are many comedies and horror flicks for your cinema viewings this June, but that’s not all! We’ve created a list of the most anticipated new releases in theatres this month to help you find out which movies you should prioritise. So read on to see what movie tickets you should purchase!
1- The Boogeyman

Horror film buffs, gather! The Boogeyman follows the story of Sadie and Sawyer Harper, two sisters who are grieving their mother’s death and aren’t getting much support from their therapist father, Will, who is also struggling with his own grief. When a sick person in desperate need of aid comes to their door, he brings a horrific supernatural being that preys on children and adults alike.
This film, which features Sophie Thatcher, Chris Messina, and David Dastmalchian, is set to premiere on June 1st.
2- Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

The action and spectacle that has captivated audiences worldwide will return in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts to take viewers on a global adventure with the Autobots in the ’90s and introduce a new breed of Transformer, the Maximals, to the ongoing battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons on Earth.
Featuring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback and directed by Steven Caple Jr., this film has an anticipated release date set for June 8th.
3- The Flash

The first movie devoted to the DC Comics superhero, The Flash, will release on June 15th. It stars Michael Shannon, Sasha Calle, Ron Livingston, and Ezra Miller as The Flash as he tests the limits of his abilities. And now that Michael Keaton has been cast as Batman, everyone can’t wait to see the beloved DC hero from the 1980s return to the silver screens!
4- Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

After watching the final chapter of Guardians of the Galaxy, we’re excited to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the latest film from Marvel Studios. When Miles Morales launches himself across the Multiverse, he runs into a group of Spider-People whose job is to ensure the Multiverse’s continued existence. However, Miles must rethink what it means to be a hero when the heroes disagree on how to best deal with a new danger.
The film, starring Hailee Steinfeld, Shameik Moore, and Oscar Isaac, will premiere on June 22nd.
5- Sugar Daddy

Shawki, Bayoumi Fouad’s newest character, begins an affair with a well-known dancer, Natalia, and takes her on a weekend excursion to Sahl Hasheesh after he and his wife, Omaima, become bored in their marriage. Upon learning of his secret, his sons confront him in Sahl Hasheesh in an effort to save his and their mother’s marriage. But unfortunately, Shawki’s metamorphosis into a “Sugar Daddy” has already been completed!
Released on May 25th but still showing in theatres this June, it is the newest Egyptian film starring Hamdy El Marghani, Bayoumi Fouad, Laila Elwi, Mostafa Ghareeb, Farah El Zahed, and Gawhara.
