The month of October is famous for its never-ending spooky atmosphere that fills the autumn air. What else can you expect from the month with one of our favourite holidays? Our personal favourite way to celebrate October—otherwise known as the month of Halloween—is by tuning into some of the greatest vampire TV of all time. And as the first week of October finishes, we’re providing all you vampire lovers with a list of some of the most popular vampire TV shows that’ll make your blood rise and get you into the thrilling October spirit!

What We Do In the Shadows

WWDITS is a satirical mockumentary about three vampires, Nadja, Laszlo, and Nandor, who live together in a house on Staten Island as they search for their purposes in life. We guarantee you won’t stop laughing as you watch these vampires have the time of their lives as they partake in the typical vampiric activities you’d imagine in a more comical and slightly absurd way.

True Blood

A little gory, a lot dramatic, and certainly one of the most interesting portrayals of evil vampires. True Blood provides a unique glimpse of good vampires—something that isn’t uncommon to see in most vampire TV—but Bill and Sookie still sure know how to leave you with some good tips on all the more safe vampiric ways to live without destroying everything in your path.

The Vampire Diaries

We’re sure we don’t need to introduce this one to you because it’s probably the most famous vampire show on this list. But we do love this show and think its hype is very well deserved. While there are so many seasons (some might say too many), we don’t doubt that you’ll enjoy every second of this show year after year.

Interview With the Vampire

Interview With the Vampire is about, well, an interview with a vampire. It might sound boring, but trust us when we say that with a vampire narrating the story, it is beyond intriguing! Based on Anne Rice’s novel of the same title, this show will get you hooked from start to finish and is definitely binge-worthy for the month of October!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

If you didn’t watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer when you were a kid, then it’s time for you to start right now! While it is not really a vampire show so much as a hunting and having the ability to kill a vampire type of show, it is still something that’ll satisfy you vampire lovers out there and will have you wanting to watch episode after episode.
