If you’ve been on the internet recently, then you’ve probably seen the videos of Dr Mekawi as they’ve rapidly spread everywhere. Despite the memes and TikTok videos ridiculing the man, he still insists on helping average Egyptian men become ‘bad boys’ and score girls in some disturbing ways.
And sadly, it doesn’t stop there. He also claims to be a ‘doctor of relationships’ when he only seems to focus on giving himself (and other men) a pass for being a creep. Since we took a deep dive into Dr Mekawi’s twisted world, allow us to tell you about some of his most questionable ‘lessons’.
“Hey Siri”
According to Dr Mekawi, this trick is something every guy should do. All a guy has to do is send one of his friends to the girl he likes and have him ask her to make a call on her phone. After that, the friend texts the guy the girl’s number, so he can save it as ‘the cute girl next to me’. And then, all the harasser-to-be has to do is sit next to the girl and loudly say, ‘Hey Siri, call the cute girl next to me’.
When the girl’s phone rings, this is apparently to spark a conversation that ends with a blossoming relationship.
To recap, in this situation, a guy has to get a girl’s number without permission and use his friends to try to get a date! Just how worrisome is that?

The staring contests
In Mekawi’s own words (not ours), if a girl catches your eye on the street more than once, she likes you. Yes, that’s it—no context is needed, apparently! He didn’t stop there, either, as he gives his followers a bunch of instructions to follow in that situation. First, keep staring at the girl and grin at her. Then, put your phone in your pockets and take three steps towards the girl, and—that’s it; the girl will then (supposedly) be charmed by your courage.
On a serious note, there are different possibilities for someone to lock eyes for a few seconds with a stranger on the street; it’s just human nature. So, why turn it into a creepy staring competition? This can turn into an invasion of privacy, if not something worse. So, why do that in the first place?

Outfit ideas
Dr Mekawi thinks wearing shirts in specific styles means you are a “bad boy”, which is apparently considered the most attractive thing in women’s eyes. So, if you wear dark-coloured shirts, roll up your sleeves and open the first three buttons, you become a chick magnet. Is this 2008 all over again? We think it is!

Jokes aside, how about we DON’T do any of that?
This man should stop making creepy content because if people start actually doing some of the things he suggests, it will make the lives of women more Unbearable—and they are already going through enough harassment in the streets!
Therefore, if you mean well, don’t approach a girl by freaking her out. And more importantly, remember, no means NO!
