The ultimate pop sensation Katy Perry visited Cairo in October 2019 with her fiancé Orlando Bloom. At first, this visit was thought just a rumour, but one good photo at the Pyramids sealed the deal for everyone!

Another iconic Hollywood star who visited Egypt is actor Owen Wilson! The star not only explored the amazing architecture and temples that Egypt is known for but, as the photos show, also got pretty familiar with the country’s rich culture!

Last year, the legendary actor with cinema’s most recognisable voice, Morgan Freeman, decided to shed light on Ancient Egyptian civilisation by visiting countless ancient Egyptian sites with Egyptologist, Salima Ikram. This footage was later used in National Geographic’s The Story of God.
