Do long movies bore you? Because if so, you shouldn’t let that discourage you, as long films can still be exciting with you barely noticing the time passing. Whether you see these movies in the cinema, stream them at home, or watch them on TV, you’ll love every second of them, even if they are a little time-consuming. And we guarantee you’re gonna love wasting time on these films!

We have a little secret we want to tell you, and you might disagree, but we are definitely biased; there isn’t one single bad movie that Al Pacino stars in. We rest our case, ladies and gentlemen.

  • The Wolf Of Wall Street (3 Hrs)

A Leonardo DiCaprio masterpiece, The Wolf of Wall Street is one we bet you can’t find anyone who hasn’t watched and thought it was mesmerising. Because, come on, Margot Robbie and Jonah Hill’s chemistry with DiCaprio is undeniable! In fact, they’re easily the best-supporting characters out there.

You will feel every single emotion acted out in this movie, and, fair warning, watching a film about a stockbroker is draining because you will feel the building frustration. And with a talent as pure as Leo’s, you’ll think he’s a real stockbroker, and the emotional fallback will be immense.

  • The Godfather (2 Hrs 55 mins)

We will make you an offer you can’t refuse—watch this movie, and you’ll get to see the brilliant Marlon Brando and the legendary Al Pacino making history. Also, an added bonus of seeing this movie is getting to be one of the cool people in your friend group if you’re the only one who’s seen it.

Are you intrigued yet? Okay, that may not sound like a great offer, but The Godfather is an ASTOUNDING film that will move you to watch it several times. Believe us when we say it’s truly amazing!

  • House Of Gucci (2 Hrs 37 Mins)

Although this movie is pretty long, it is actually the shortest one on our list. However, if you’re interested in fashion (and Lady Gaga), then you must see this because guess what? Not only do we get to see Lady Gaga portraying status-obsessed Patrizia Reggiani, but also we get to learn the Gucci Family history and why it’s still one of the most successful high-end brands today.

  • The Irishman (3 Hrs 29 Mins)

The longest movie on this list (and possibly, the longest film ever), The Irishman is a masterpiece! Imagine that—Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci are all in one of the most beautifully shot movies, directed by the one and only Martin Scorsese. That’s just our opinion, of course, but we’re pretty sure you will fall in love with the acting and plot of the movie. You’ll also love the characters themselves, even if they are criminals.

We also loved the movie’s cinematography and colours too—talk about real cinema!

  • Interstellar (2 Hrs 49 Mins)

Christopher Nolan is a genius, and we know it too well. We also think this movie is one of the most heartfelt, emotionally-draining films you could ever watch…which is exactly why you should watch it. You’ll get a great story, phenomenal acting, AND phenomenal cinematography!

Matthew McConaughey portrays the realities of being a single father, an ex-NASA pilot, and a leader that wants to save humanity from what it’s done to the world. He also tries his hardest to find another habitable planet. If you want to cry your eyes out and watch an extraordinary movie, we recommend this one.
