Of course, we are familiar and in love with sitcom classics, but you may not be so acquainted with other comedy gems out there. So, if you are craving something relatively new and hilarious to binge, we recommend the following underrated sitcoms!
1- Frasier
An American masterpiece from the ‘90s, the show was rated one of the most successful sitcoms of all time and starred Kelsey Grammar as Dr Frasier Crane, a middle-aged and highly sophisticated physiatrist who hosts a radio show in Seattle while living with his retired dad and his dog.
His brother Niles is a hilarious sidekick with a PhD in psychiatry as well, though he loves to bicker and tease his older brother. This household is guaranteed to give you some of your best time laughing with its extremely clever jokes and relatable societal issues.

4- Community
If you have a Netflix account, then it is time to binge-watch this incredibly entertaining ensemble comedy from the creator of Rick and Morty and directors of the Avengers’ Marvel franchise. This American show is about a diverse group of adult students in a community college, none of whom really want to be there.
The show starts slow, introducing us to its incredibly-layered characters, though it then becomes an instant addiction with its funny plot and witty exchanges between the group. The show blissfully introduced us to hip-hop icon and comedy star Donald Glover (AKA Childish Gambino).
It also features a great supporting cast and guests like comedy legend John Oliver, the Hangover films’ star Ken Jeong, and Jim Rash in an unforgettable role as their college’s Dean. (Bonus: Don’t miss out on the show’s classic paintball episodes! They’re such fun rides!)
5- Brooklyn 99
Another SNL star, Andy Samberg, leads this comedy that takes place at Precinct 99 Police station. But don’t worry, the show is anything but serious. Follow detective Jake Peralta, his poker-face boss Captain Holt, and his squad with questionable cop skills and hilarious personas through their lives at the police station!
The fun clashes between those brilliantly-developed characters and extremely witty humour will get you to be a 99 loyal fan, guaranteed!
