As is the case, it’s always confusing to differentiate between real and fake news. Yet, no matter the validity, it’s interesting to see how amusing celebrity news (and celebrity rumours) can get—especially when it’s unexpected! How about we go over some gossip and try to work out their authenticity?
1- Is Ahmed Dawood going for the Egyptian version of Aladdin?
Word had been going around about the making of an Arab version of Aladdin, starring none other but actor Ahmed Dawood in the title role! After Mena Massoud, how cool would it be to have another Egyptian playing this iconic character? Sure, it would be a little redundant, but it’d be wholesome.
2- Are Mohamed Abou Gabal and Samara Yahia really separated?
The Zamalek SC and the Egyptian national team goalkeeper, Mohamed Abou Gabal, has been doing nothing but giving everyone mixed signals about his possible divorce since the 2022 AFCON tournament wrapped up. He bashed his wife a little bit, though, and mentioned that his marital situation is ‘complicated’. Shouldn’t it be either ‘married’, ‘separated’, or ‘divorced’? Where’s the complication?
However, Abou Gabal’s wife Samara made a statement saying that it’s immature of him to talk about their private life to the public. She also said that she hopes that ‘things’ end soon and properly. Therefore, it might be right to assume that the marriage is ending after all.

3- Is Sherine Abdel-Wahab going back to Hossam Habib?
Even after their divorce, this ex-couple are still getting their share of attention on the rumour mill. As we all remember, this relationship ended on bad terms, with Sherine making statements about Habib being immature and even a little toxic, which is why this rumour is nothing short of gobsmacking.
Thankfully, though, Sherine officially stated that this fake news and that she and Habib are still separated. Hurray for Sherine!

4- Why didn’t Alaa Wali El-Din’s corpse decompose after all this time?
Nineteen years after comedy star Alaa Wali El-Din’s passing, his brother Moataz Wali El-Din proclaims that the star’s corpse still has not entirely decomposed. We don’t doubt that no one knows why such a thing would happen!
Yet, the star’s brother and other people reckon that it’s because of Alaa’s “good deeds”. What kind of science can we use to confirm that good people’s bodies don’t decompose? Other crazier rumours say that the star’s body didn’t decompose because it’s possessed! What are these demons doing in a corpse? We’d like to know!
