Back to Egypt: a Brazilian Collection of Photographs at Gezira Art Center

The Brazilian Embassy in Egypt is collaborating with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture to present "Back to Egypt: a Brazilian Collection of Photographs". These photos are part of an extensive photographic collection that Emperor Pedro II collected during his extensive travels. This mini-collection of Egyptian photos is on loan from the National Library of Rio de Janeiro, as it is also listed in the UNESCO "Memory Of The World" program due to its historical significance. All this makes this gallery a must-see for Egyptians, photography enthusiasts, and historical fanatics alike.

The gallery will be displayed starting from the 3rd of November until the 30th of the same month daily, except for Fridays, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm as well.
