The holy month of Ramadan is finally upon us, and we all know what that means. Food, gatherings, hookah, Ramadan series, and more food!

Over the past few days, there have been some rumours going around that there will be no more watching Ramadan series on YouTube. The Egyptian media has decided to ban all Ramadan series from the site.

Apparently, 15 series will be made available to watch online this Ramadan, only through an application called “Watch it”, which of course you’ll have to subscribe to. We heard it will cost around 99 EGP/month. And of course, the TV remains an available option for those who don’t mind the incessant ad breaks.
