After previously winning the Tournament of Champions for Men title, and scoring a spot on the top ten of African Male Squash Players, and one on the Top Ten Egyptian Male Players, squash champion Ali Farag scores yet another achievement to add to the list!
The number one world squash player won the PSA World Championship for the first time in his career. In the championship’s final match, Farag was competing against fellow Egyptian Tarek Momen, something we can all take pride in! In the end, Farag won 3:1; winning the title of PSA World Champion.
Ali Farag isn’t your typical squash player, not only did he graduate from Harvard University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014, but he’s also married to the world’s no.3 female squash player, Nour El Tayeb.
Congratulations, champ!
