No need to tell you every week that you’ve got to escape from all the work stress, and that the only way to do so is by attending a party or two. Cairo has got the best midweek parties, and here’s a list of our favourites.
1. Tuesday After Work BBQ @ Cairo Jazz Club 610 (Tuesday 31/7)
Every Tuesday, CJC 610 brings an assortment of delicious BBQ dishes to the tables of its guests, and equally delicious beats! Leave work a bit early, take your favourite work buddy, and head there as DJ Miesh will be in charge.
2. Basementality ft. Minus T @ Basement – Urban Pub (Tuesday 31/7)
DJ Minus T is the one taking over this week’s edition of Basementality party, and as always, this party is going to be wild.
3. Game Night @ The Tap (West, East, Maadi) (Tuesday 31/7)
You need to set the little kid inside of you free every once in a while. And there’s no better way to do so than with a game night at any of The Tap branches.
4. Ze Khodz / Sukoon @ Cairo Jazz Club (Tuesday 31/7)
If you’re in the mood for something completely different, then head to CJC! This week, they’re welcoming Ze Khodz, which is one crazy band with hilarious lyrics! Alongside them is one of everyone’s favourite bands, Sukoon.
5. R&B/hip-hop Ladies Night ft. DJ Feedo @ Gŭ Bar (Tuesday 31/7)
If you think Gu Bar’s R&B/hip-hop night with DJ Feedo is going to just disappear from this list, then think twice! And yes, it’s still a ladies night.
6. Mobbz / Kaboo (Visiting) @ Cairo Jazz Club 610 (Tuesday 31/7)
After enjoying lunch at CJC 610, stay a bit longer and enjoy even greater beats by Mobbz and Kaboo.
7. Fedde @ The Tap East (Wednesday 1/8)
No better way to blast your midweek than with a party mastered by Fedde.
8. Mohasseb @ Cairo Jazz Club (Wednesday 1/8)
Once a master, always a master! Mohasseb rocked many parties before, and will definitely be blasting the neighbourhood with crazy beats.
9. Layalina ft. Mahmoud El Laithy @ Gŭ Bar (Wednesday 1/8)
Let’s just go a bit oriental because it wouldn’t be the same without Gu Bar’s Layalina party which features Mahmoud El Laithy and the belly dancer.
10. Massar Egbari @ Cairo Jazz Club 610 (Wednesday 1/8)
Who would ever miss a party with Massar Egbari? Absolutely nobody! Catch them at CJC 610 and enjoy their always spectacular performances.
11. Rewind ft. Moose @ The Tap West (Wednesday 1/8)
The Tap West is up for another Rewind party, and this time Moose is the one in charge of serving you oldies hits.
12. R&B Night @ OPIA (Wednesday 1/8)
If you enjoy R&B night as we always do, then head to OPIA where their favourite Soul M is taking over.
