After a four-year absence from the cinema screen, the Egyptian superstar is back with one hell of a movie, titled El Sandoo2 El Eswid. The thriller’s official trailer just came out, and it already has us on the edge of our seats; we’re not sure what we’ll be doing when we’re watching the full movie!
Also starring Mohamed Farrag, Moustafa Khater, and Sherif Salama, El Sandoo2 El Eswid follows the story of a burglary gone wrong when the two thieves realise there’s a pregnant woman in the house they broke in to. Not that 2020 is lacking any action, but the kind of suspense we’ve seen in the trailer has been missed, to be quite honest. Especially as the shooting started back in December 2019, so we’ve been waiting impatiently for a while already.
The film is expected to be released in cinemas on October 28th. It was written by Ahmed and Haitham El Dahan and directed by Mahmoud Kamel.
