But despite this, we never thought there would come a day to see these influential women honoured and appreciated for changing so many lives around them, especially those of young girls and teens. The Vogue Ball of Arabia

The third edition of the Vogue Ball of Arabia took place on December 15th at Dubai’s Jumeriah Mina A’salam. With only A-List celebrities from the Middle East attending the grand ball, they were expected to get honoured and gifted awards for their remarkable works.

And this year, not only fashion was celebrated but women, with the ball tributing their legacies in the Arab entertainment industry. The Golden Age of Arab entertainment inspired the Vogue event.

The Three Arab Divas

Three of the most powerful women in the industry were awarded for their hard work and dedication in singing, acting, and the way they used fashion and beauty to inspire other women.

The first of the awarded divas was legendary Egyptian actress Nabila Ebeid, who has appeared in over 50 films across her career. Second to receive the prize was the Tunisian beauty, pop singer, and former actress Latifa, who captured audiences across cultures with her craft and talent. Lastly, Lebanese model Georgina Rizk was deservingly awarded the prize for being the first Arab and Lebanese woman to be crowned Miss Universe.

Each of the women were awarded for their hard work and passion, and given a moment on stage for their acceptance speeches. And a precious addition to the moment was actress Nabila Ebeid dedicating her prize to her late friend Mofeed Fawzy in her speech.
