Celebrities teasing each other on social media is one of the incidents that quickly grabs the attention of fans, giving them an idea about how their relationship is like in real life. But this recent Instagram convo between Tamer Hosny and Akon took things to a completely different level.
A couple of days ago, Egyptian megastar Tamer Hosny published a picture from his recent concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on his official Instagram account. Under the image, that featured international superstar Akon, Hosny teased his fellow artist with an Arabic caption, welcoming him on stage. Shortly after, Akon responded with a caption written in Arabic, more Egyptian than ever, as he published three other pictures of them singing together.
Fans went crazy, and in a few short hours, both posts went viral, garnering humorous comments on Akon’s fluent and super original response. Of course, everyone knows an Egyptian was probably involved, but it was a smart move that deserves a round of applause! The international singer knew how to capture the hearts of Egyptians right before his upcoming performance in El Gouna this month.
Hosny and Akon share an artistic history. Back in 2014, they released a song titled Welcome to the Life.
