After a rather killer performance impersonating Queen’s legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury, and landing the villain role in the upcoming instalment of the James Bond series, Rami Malek was announced the new face of the latest Saint Laurent campaign.

The American-Egyptian actor effortlessly rocked some flamboyant looks when he played the role of Mercury. If that proved anything, then it’s the fact that Malek can surely pull off any character and wear many hats.

Malek dared not just to go sockless, but he could also be seen flaunting some sparkly sequined pants. The prestigious French fashion house’s SS20 collection also boasts military-inspired jackets, silk boleros, and party suits.

This is not the first high-end fashion gig for the Academy Award-winning actor. Back in 2017, Malek, alongside Boy George and A$AP Rocky, posed for Dior Homme’s Spring collection.

The new menswear collection is courtesy of Yves Saint Laurent’s (YSL) creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

Since the Mr Robot star has been nominated for the Best Actor in a Drama Series award at the Golden Globes 2020, should we expect Vaccarello to dress him in YSL from head-to-toe for the red carpet?
