Arsenal recently confirmed that Egyptian midfielder, Mohamed Elneny, has officially joined Besiktas for Turkish Süper Lig. Elneny has left the Gunners on loan and will join Beskitas for the rest of the season.

Since his move from Swiss side FC Basel in early 2016, Elneny made 89 appearances. Head coach Unai Emery wasn’t really convinced with Mo’s performance; he only made eight Premier League appearances last year. That makes his total playtime just 379 minutes.

Meanwhile, Elneny remains a cornerstone of the Egyptian national team.

According to Arsenal, the loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes. In fact, news is circulating that the deal could become permanent, but nothing’s confirmed.
