Over the weekend, Egyptian fashion label, Kojak, just announced that it’ll be making donations to help combat Coronavirus. Designer Mohanad Kojak joined forces with his fashion buyer and consultant, Ines Gohar, as well as the Abbasia Fever Hospital to achieve the goals of this initiative.

100% of profits on selected best-seller garments on the website will be donated in full to help the hospital buy all the medical equipment they need to fight the pandemic. The luxury brand’s primary goal is to be able to gather enough money to buy ICU beds for the hospital.

Gohar took to Instagram further explaining that making a purchase will not just aid the Abbasia Fever Hospital, but will also cover the costs and will allow the brand to pay its team’s wages for the next month.

It’s really great to see that local businesses are acknowledging their social responsibility. Kojak definitely made a smart move that should also help him sustain his business, as well as save his team from losing their source of income.
