Amidst the global Coronavirus outbreak, Egypt lit up its landmarks with the Chinese flag in solidarity with China and its people in their current struggle. Pictures of the lit-up monuments were circulated on all social media platforms, and are today’s talk of the town. Those included the Saladin Citadel in Cairo, the Karnak Temple Complex in Luxor, and the Philae Temple in Aswan.
