Tunisian superstar Hend Sabry has just announced her participation in the long-awaited film, Kera Wel Gen, alongside Egyptian veteran actors Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz.

Kera Wel Gen is based on Ahmed Mourad’s famed novel, 1919. The film follows the story of the iconic 1919 revolution and how it affected the characters.

The film, which will be produced by Synergy Films, is, of course, directed by Marwan Hamed, who has worked with Mourad on all his cinema works.

This is not the first time for Sabry to collaborate with both Ezz and Abdelaziz. The actress joined the cast of Hamed and Mourad’s sequel to El Feel El Azra2, which smashed box office records last year, acting alongside Karim Abdel Aziz. As for Ezz, they worked together in El Mamar and Mozakerat Morahka.

Both Sabry and Ezz are now preparing for a new Ramadan series, which will be their first-ever TV series together. As yet, details regarding the plot or the name of the series haven’t been confirmed. What we know for sure so far is that it’s written by Baher Dweidar and will be directed by Ahmed Alaa.
