When people use social media to express their opinions on something, sometimes it can get really aggressive, especially when it comes to celebrities. As much as we see fans attacking other fandoms and their icons, we also see countless celebrities dissing each other on-air or on different social media platforms.

A few months back, El Waili was about to drop an album that supposedly had a song called “El-Layaly” featuring Zaid Khaled and Marwan Pablo. That song was leaked on Twitter for a while with the soon-to-be deleted verses. When the album was released, the awaited song was missing Pablo’s lines, and the fans didn’t take it very well. At this time, it was addressed by El Waili as a ‘’cancelled project’’. Isn’t a little odd?

Some fans were more interested in Pablo’s verses than actually listening to the album, and this is when, maybe, El Waili got offended. Yesterday, he posted a suspicious story on his Instagram account that pokes fun at Pablo and his fans, saying that Zaid Khaled and he are living in the future with considerably ‘more developed’ music, while everyone else is just holding onto the past, especially with hits like “El-Gmeza”.

Naturally, this statement drove the rappers’ community crazy as they took it pretty seriously. El Waili posted another Instagram story, trying to clear the air and gain sympathy for his underappreciated album.

As everyone waited for a reaction from Pablo, the star rapper gave nothing, but Zaid then decided to state that, for him, the album is a reflection on his past relationship, detaching himself from any quarrel that is likely to happen between the two. Pablo’s fans stood up for him, and a raging war was on!
