We love to see these young stars on screens big and small, as we’re always mesmerised and obsessed with their talent and passion for acting. And we’re also incredibly proud that these young Egyptian actors are as involved with their country as they are with their craft. These six young Egyptians are now ambassadors for different causes, making us even more amazed by their potential. Not only are they amazing actors, but they’re also inspiring for all Egyptians out there.

  • Nour El-Nabawy

Our new favourite young actor, Nour El-Nabawy has been stunning us with his roles in El Ekhteyar and Rag’een Ya Hawa. In addition, El-Nabawy was recently chosen as an ambassador for UNICEF’s Shabab El Balad initiative, which helps youngsters by enabling them to follow their dreams in education and entrepreneurial projects and achieve better social status.

This initiative was first introduced in the World Youth Forum in January of 2022 and came into being through the UN’s Generation Unlimited Initiative.

  • Adam El-Sharkawy

You probably know him as “Big Zee” from Ramadan 2021’s hit Le’bet Newton series. Adam El-Sharkawy is an Egyptian-American who grew up in the US, but is very passionate and tied to his Egyptian roots and speaks in Arabic whenever he gets the chance. And that’s exactly why he was chosen to be the ambassador of the presidential initiative “Etkalem Arabi”, which helps youths in Egypt and abroad to get more familiar with their history and language.

This initiative was created to advocate and raise awareness of mental health and other issues faced by the teenagers of Egypt.

Ahmed Dash is the perfect example of an aspiring actor and a young man who followed his dreams. Not only did he go to the Cannes Film Festival and guest star in an international Marvel show, but he still gives us amazing content in Egyptian cinema.
