If you reckon that 2021 had a bunch of masterful movies, let us tell you that 2022 has even better ones coming out! Some of these movies’ trailers have already been released, and it seems we’ll be spending a lot of time watching them on the big screen.

Arab Movies:
Kira Wa El-Gen

Based on Ahmed Mourad’s 1919 novel, a fulfilling piece of drama, action, and even comedy is coming our way! The cast alone will get you excited as it stars Karim Abd El-Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Hend Sabri, Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Malik, and even more iconic Egyptian stars.
This movie has been in the making for years now and, unfortunately, there are no sneak peeks for it just yet. However, it was announced that Kira Wa El-Gen will finally come out this year, which makes it feel like the hype for Blue Elephant’s and Torab El-Mas all over again! But we’re definitely not complaining; who would want to miss that soon-to-be blockbuster movie when it’s released?!
El-Serb
In El-Serb, our beloved Ahmed El-Sakka, alongside Asser Yassin, Karim Fahmy, Ahmed Hatim, and Sherif Mounir, are on a military mission that we can only hope will go well. The trailer is totally intriguing, and it even says that the movie is based on true events! How long has it been since we watched a memorable action film like this?
Perfect Strangers

Even though it was recently released, Netflix's Perfect Strangers was one of the year's most anticipated films with good reason. It stars Mona Zaki, Eyad Nassar, Nadine Labaki, and more, with its plot revolving around seven friends who meet for dinner after a long time. The friends decide to play a game, which we will see happen as we watch and enjoy.
El-Ayel
Who wants to see Ahmed Helmy and Ruby working together? Yes, that’s definitely everyone!
That’s, of course, without mentioning that the movie also stars Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Malik, and Amr Abdel-Galel. The plot revolves around a lot of prison interviews, offering many new things to learn about the prisoners. Honestly, we can’t wait for this prison drama to unfold!
The Spider
With Dhafer Al-Abdeen, Yousra El-Lozi, and Ahmed El-Sakka, nothing can go wrong! It’s set to be an action thriller movie that revolves around some drug dealers causing danger and police manoeuvers which are, of course, Ahmed El-Sakka’s specialities in life.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Did you think that Spiderman: No Way Home marked the end of the era of the best movies for Marvel? Well, no, because the Marvel Universe will get even ‘madder’ soon with the release of the newest Doctor Strange movie! The multiverse is now opened with old and new MCU characters fighting their way to solve it.

These aren’t the only movies we think fans will be clamouring for! In addition to all the films we’ve mentioned, many people are waiting for the much-anticipated Scream sequel, as well as Halloween Ends, while others are just itching to buy tickets for Top Gun: Maverick and Avatar 2.
Oh, and naturally, we haven’t forgotten about superhero fans who should be getting their treat with the newest Batman movie in addition to Aquaman 2, and Thor: Love and Thunder.
