The fourth annual edition of psychedelic trance festival, Desert Dance, is set to hit the sandy shores of Dahab, Sinai between Thursday 2nd and Sunday 5th of April with a huge line-up of loads of people you've probably never heard of.
With over forty acts at the open-air, under-the-stars and under-the-influence festival, there will certainly be no shortage of music or peace and quiet. Described as "a gathering of artists, expressionists, freaks, dancers, healers, party people, nature lovers," the organisers' attempts to portray this as more than a three-day collective blackout for attendees, will see light shows and other visual wizardry colour the festival trippy.
Amongst a veritable Benetton advert of performers, Egyptian DJs at Desert Dance include SLm.z (no, me neither), Uncle Sam (3amo eih?), Reel Brazza (love it) and VENT resident, Ahmed Samy.
For the full line-up of performers, clear half an hour from your day, make a cup of coffee and start reading here - where you can also inquire about tickets.
