The people behind the Tamt El Targama Facebook Page (check out this work showing Hollywood actors a rural Egyptians) have struck again with a new collection of images designed by Hany Rady showing Om Kalthoum, Abdel Halim Hafez and others with modern-day garb and hair. This funny-but-also-a-bit-freaky collection (Mohamed Abdel Wahab is frankly disconcerting) also translates their names into English with hilarious results – our favourite has got to be Nagat Al Sagheera: Survival the Small.
