The Golden Age of Egyptian Cinemas seems like a whole lifetime away; granted, there's no lack of talent in Egypt, but if we're all honest, few of today's so-called stars can even dream of holding a candle to the likes of Roshdy Abaza and Soad Hosny - two legends that have been creatively reimagined by graphic designer, Amr Ismail, as contemporary stars on the red carpets of today.

Though Abaza and Hosny are two of the most eye-catching of Ismail's project, Ismail Yassin - sporting a suitably more casual red carpet look - has never looked better.

Other icons of the golden era reworked include Hend Rostom, Naglaa Fathy and Faten Hamama look equally as dashing, while even legendary singer, Sabah, also gets the red carpet treatment.

According to the Amr Ismail's Facebook page, these are just the first few of what is a much larger project. Check it out for yourself.
