News has been circulating about an upcoming movie starring American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift and Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek. The film, which is so far unnamed and set to be directed by David O. Russell, will combine the talents of these renowned artists, as well as other big names, including Christian Bale, Zoe Saldana, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington.

Swift, who has been away from the silver screen for years now, has recently been widely celebrated for her new album Evermore, which featured collaborations with various artists. The 11-time Grammy winner was first seen acting in the 2010 Romantic Comedy Valentine’s Day and has since had minor roles in movies such as The Lorax, The Giver, and Cats.

Rami Malek, who’s won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury in the highly successful movie Bohemian Rhapsody last year, has gained fame and popularity over his career, landing roles in acclaimed works, such as Night at the Museum, Mr. Robot, the thrilling TV series, The Little Things, and Papillon.

This upcoming work will be David O. Russell’s first film since his 2015 movie Joy, which starred Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Robert De Niro. Russell has also written and directed Oscar-winning titles like The Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.

The release date of the film has not yet been announced, but it’s no secret that people, including us, are impatiently waiting to find out more!
