As the world celebrated Sony’s iconic walkman’s 40th anniversary a few days ago, on the 1st of July 1979, we got stuck on our trip down the memory lane. From Backstreet Boys to Hisham Abbas, those little cassette tapes have witnessed the best days of our lives, ones that today’s generation knows nothing about.
We asked around the office what people used to listen to on their walkmans, and we ended up with a super long playlist that’s definitely getting stuck on replay until the end of the week. So, are you ready for some nostalgic hits? Click on the name of your favourite songs to listen.
P.S: Don’t let the jaw-dropping diversity shock you. Everyone has their own taste in music, and there are lots of things we were all guilty of listening to. So, no judging, please?
