Killers Without Conscience: H.H. Holmes & Jane Toppan (2009)

During the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago, Holmes became America’s first known serial killer when he charmed and lured victims to his hotel of horrors where he murdered them and hid their bodies in the walls. The property featured 51 doorways that opened to brick walls, 100 windowless rooms, stairs that led to nowhere, two furnaces and body-sized chutes to an incinerator.
