If you happen to be graduating this year, virtually attending the supposedly best days of your life and last days of school over Zoom meetings, this one’s for you. Even though these videos weren’t filmed in Egypt, we thought they would put you in a better mood. We know these times are hard, but it shall pass!

Last Saturday, and under the title “Graduate Together”, an hour-long virtual graduation took place to honour this year’s grads in the US. Tons of public figures and lots of your favourite celebrities were involved, and all said a word: LeBron James, Oprah Winfrey, Matthew McConaughey, John Legend, and many more.

“Even though there may not be a pomp because of our circumstances, never has been a graduating class been called to step into the future with more purpose, vision, passion, and energy and hope, ” Oprah said.

Besides Oprah’s much-needed wisdom, two other videos really stood out. McConaughy’s pep talk and another by Miley Cyrus, which makes every single 90s kid wish they were graduating now instead as she sings her famed The Climb from Hannah Montana: The Movie.

So, to all the seniors, hang on out there. Take a breather and a few minutes break to watch these videos; they’re quite the motivation you need right now.
