Visit Dubai and TRACCS were kind enough to invite us to catch a glimpse of the future that has been laid by one of the world’s most advanced cities, Dubai. The city is founded on the most advanced technological infrastructures and modern architecture in multiple areas: transportation, hotels, entertainment venues, roads, parks, and resorts. This concrete foundation lays path for people of all walks of life and mindsets to visit and be enchanted by the city’s offerings.
With a multitude of different hotels, Dubai can, for example, cater to any specific persona; whether you are into something fresh and upbeat, or you like calm, comfort and luxury. On one hand you have Zebeel House Hotel, which blends contemporary and retro visions in their furniture and decoration. Zebeel is home to colourful paintings, retro-styled quotations on the walls, cube-shaped chairs in the hotel’s restaurant and a Dubai map on the ceiling of your bedroom.
On the other hand, La Pita Hotel offers all that is luxury. Inside the hotel itself, you will find the worlds’ delicacies in one place, expert masseuse services, spas, king-sized beds and more. Plus, La Pita is the only hotel that lies in the middle of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
When it comes to the amusement parks Dubai offers, there is definitely one that will bring your wildest dreams to life. First off, you have two parks located on City Walk, the Green Planet & Hub Zero. The Green Planet provides guests with a jungle experience among the most exotic animals and 3,000 tropical plants. And, Hub Zero pumps the hardcore gamers with adrenaline; using the latest gaming technologies, and several adaptations of PS/PC games.
Another two parks are located inside Dubai Mall: The Aquarium & Underwater Zoo Park and a VR Park; one offering a dive into the depths of the sea, the other, a simulated reality!
Elsewhere, there was the IMG Worlds of Adventure that provides Marvel comic geeks with a home full of their fantasies; from life-sized action figures and a gold-plated action figure, to mint condition comics, all under the same roof.
Back to the Dubai parks and Resorts where La Pita is situated, we enjoyed the Riverland Dubai experience as it featured four themed zones: the French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate, and The Peninsula. Also, it has a Lego Land park with human-sized Lego everything. In addition to a Hollywood’s Motion Gate Park and a Bollywood park.
One of our most exotic experiences was visiting Dubai Frame, and this was where Dubai took architecture to a whole new level. You can watch every part of Dubai from there, or frame Dubai in golden pictures, however you want. Surprisingly enough too, the whole building is covered in 24k gold; yes, the whole thing!
Of course, the city hosts all of these amusements, but it never forgets about the shopping freaks out there. They have Mercato Mall, a mall that got the DSF Innovation Award for “Best Shopping Mall Promotion” category. Also, we visited Dubai Mall, where literally everything you desire is there. If you are a billionaire, they have a floor that’s made for you with the most expensive brands. That is, if you want to spend the couple of million you have, lavishly!
We can’t forget about the La Perle Show, it left us all speechless. The show featured 65 world-class artists, and it’s the first permanent show located in the heart of Dubai. It was an inspiring thing to watch.
We also can’t forget about Fly Emirates business class or even economy class; they both offered some outstanding comforts for us!
All in all, we would like to thank Visit Dubai for the great experience, and we have to say that Dubai is officially one of our favourite cities. It’s now on top of the list!
