Earning international squash titles has been a breeze for Egyptians over the past few years, but recently a world record was made.
Seasoned squash player Nour El-Sherbini has become the first woman to win JP Morgan Tournament of Champions three times, creating a new world record.
Much to our liking, El-Sherbini earned the title after a final with another Egyptian player, Raneem El Welily. Yes, we are absolutely dominating the squash courts everywhere.
Also, Ali Farag won the men’s title men, after a hard-fought match against Mohamed El Shorbagy, the Egyptian holder of 2015’s title.
Farag & El-Sherbini have been stacking the shelves with titles and awards the past couple of years, and we hope they keep making us proud!
