After a month of will-he-won't-he, it looks like Egypt and Roma footballer, Mohamed Salah, will finally seal his record-breaking transfer to English Premiership club, Liverpool.

The reported £39 million fee ($49 million/891 million LE) will make Salah the most expensive purchase in Liverpool's history and the most expensive African player ever. 

But before he heads to the often grey and cold north of England, Salah took in some sizzling Egyptian sun this week, with the former Al Mokawloon player sharing a few snaps of himself at the Pyramids with friends on Instagram.

The 25 year-old is no stranger to English football, having moved to Chelsea in 2014. But after an underwhelming period with the London club, a spell at Italian team, Fiorentina, reestablished Salah as one of the most in-demand players in European football, before moving to the Italian capital, where he was a key fixture in Roma's starting line-up.
