Fluffy Sitters is a mobile application that connects pet owners, who are either looking for or providing a service, together. The range of services includes walking pets, daycare, and boarding. There could be add-ons with extra fees such as pick-up or drop-off, grooming services, meal prep, and more. Think of it more as an Airbnb for pets!
All you have to do is download the app, sign up as a service provider or pet owner, and start from there. For security, Fluffy Sitters scans IDs of all the petsitters and tests them with a sitter exam for verification. There’s also a review system available so you can pick based on others’ experiences.
As you pick a sitter and they accept your request, you then plan a meet and greet, which is free of charge. If you and your little furry buddy feel comfortable, you then set the dates for the service required. A WhatsApp group, including the pet owner, the sitter, and an admin from Fluffy Sitters, should be created where the sitter is obligated to share pictures and updates every day.
Overnight boarding is EGP 120 and EGP 200 for cats and dogs respectively. As for daycare, for cats, it’s for EGP 100, and for dogs, it’s for EGP 150. There’s also a 10-day care package for dogs that costs EGP 1,200. As for dog walking, there’s a 10-walk package for EGP 1,200 and a 30-walk package for EGP 3,000. Fees don’t include food; you either provide the meals yourself or request one for EGP 30. The good news is that you can get a 20% discount if you have two or more pets, or if your service required is for more than a month.
