Since the COVID-19 situation, many industries had to adapt and respond quickly to change, with the events industry at the forefront. That being said, virtual experiences became the new thing for events in 2020, and Esports Summit’s latest edition was no exception.

The biggest e-sports and gaming competition in Egypt and the entire MENA region, organised by Gamers Lounge and The Worx, will be virtual this year, promising its fans a one-of-a-kind experience. Even though there’s a special thrill to have the contest held live, but this virtual experience might increase levels of competition and adrenaline by eliminating any external distractions.

Not to mention that an online event might also boost the attendance rate. In 2018, the Esports Summit attracted 5,000 attendees and reached over 10 million users online, and in 2019, the 3-day event witnessed an attendance of 8,000 professional gamers and gaming enthusiasts and online participation of more than 15 million people.

This summer’s edition will be held throughout the whole month of September with a total reach of more than a whopping 20 million people! The Esports Summit will be hosting more than 25 tournaments in a variety of popular games like Fortnite, FIFA20, PUBG, League of Legends, and DOTA.
