We all know Zooba for its contemporary play on traditional Egyptian street food and Pinterest-worthy interior décor. But now, San Franciscans will too.
Renowned online homestay network, Airbnb, recently opened its new headquarters in San Francisco’s trendy SoMa district and there’s a little piece of Cairo in there.
The office features culture-based ‘corners’ from different cities, such as Johannesburg and Shanghai, so employees can see the world like their customers, right from the comfort of their office. The inspiration for its Cairo Café corner? None other than our very own Zooba.
The are even features a take on the restaurant’s iconic blue double-doors and a plaque telling the story behind the trendsetting restaurant.
