Ramadan brings the party animals, the lovey-doveys’ and the-sometimes-pain-in-the a** siblings/relatives together. So, no matter how hard you find fasting, or how you hold yourself back from cursing, or thinking about cursing your cousin; there is always a way to make the day pass with either a lavish or eventful Iftar/Sohour in one of Cairo’s best tents. Here’s a list of some annual favourite tents, and new surprisingly interesting ones too.
One of the most luxurious tents is back again. Everybody already knows Bab Al Qasr and loves it, but its opening is what they’ll love more! For their opening, they decided to bring you the best combination of ‘RAMADAN’ and ‘FUN’. Bossy and Mahmoud El Leithy will be taking the stage by storm on the first Friday of Ramadan. Don't freak out if you are going to miss it, Bab Al Qasr will be hosting an amazing lineup of entertainment for the whole month!
Eat and Barrel is known for its Ramadan tent more than anything the whole year, and now it’s back again with everything you loved before. Also, this Friday they decided to make you dance with Mostafa Hagag, and if you said La2 La2, El Sawarekh won’t make you stop. They are located on the sunset boat, so expect nothing but an amazing view of the Nile, and one ridiculously beautiful sunset.
For all Sheikh Zayed’s residents, we tell you no matter how far you think you are, fun can find you. Rivulet Zayed tent is here every day to serve you the Sohour you deserve. And as for this Friday the superstar Mohamed Fouad is here to blast it. They will be having other superstars on weekends through Ramadan, so stay up-to-date with our events calendar.
JW Marriot has its own unique atmosphere, always! That’s why everybody loves Welad El Zawat. It’s here again with itslavish and delicious buffet, and one large screen for you to enjoy all matches/series, and some live performances to make it even better.
Wust El Balad Tent has been counting down the days for its opening and we’re counting down with them. The tent with the best of surprises and events is back again, and we can’t wait to find out what they are preparing for us. What we do know, however, is that both oriental and international cuisines will be on offer, for those who fancy a hit of local mixed with a touch of international.
This one is what people wait for the most! Everyone loves Si Omar, it’s on top of everyone's list and it’s finally opening on the 17th, which is the first day of Ramadan, with a surprise for all the Omar’s out there. If your name is Omar, then take a selfie, tag your friends, and of course tag Si Omar’s official page, for a chance to win an invitation and a table for 10 of your beloved ones for the opening. Hurry up Omar!
There’s no need to panic over what you can eat outside for Iftar or Sohour because, to be honest, not all places can serve delicious food in Ramadan. But Fawanees Ramadan has got your back! Semiramis, as always, serves the best catering with the finest view, so head there and enjoy your food with no worries.
Everything is better with a view, and if you want to spend a spectacular night in the company of your dearly loved ones, then Lantern Ramadan Tent is the right place for you. And honestly, who doesn’t like spending time in Uptown Cairo? Absolutely nobody!
For all the people who like coziness, yet a place that is still outdoors, Al Guezira Plaza has made Sehraya Ramadan Tent just for you. Sehraya Ramadan serves mouthwatering food, and great performances you’ll surely like.
And finally, the famous 3alTawla is back again at Galleria 40 with an epic opening with everyone’s favourite HAKIM! They are always surprising their people with the best. The opening is on 19th of May, and it’s a night you shouldn’t miss! Also, we know that The Tap will be providing the catering services for the tent, so if you love their food, you are in for a treat.
