Wait! Don’t put away your Hallowe’en costumes just yet, because some of Cairo’s hottest spots have still got some spirits for all the lucky weekend folks. Also, if that’s not your kind of thing, we have other ideas on how to keep you shaking it on the dance floor without a bloody ridiculous Hallowe’en costume.

First off, Thursday will be blasting with rock tunes at Cairo Jazz Club. Three cover bands will be hitting CJC’s stage: Woodpeckers make sure you dive into nostalgia with their Rolling Stones covers, and Screwdriver will feed you some hot AC/DC covers to get you grooving. This is not where it ends because the decades-old band, Amro & the Big Bang Boogie will be playing the latest and sickest covers of the Billboard top 100.

Elsewhere, Gŭ Lounge is hosting a very special Hallowe’en night, so you can put on that costume of yours and catch the resident belly dancer shaking her hips to Hassan El Kholaky’s singing voice, and DJ Hany Hassan’s tunes.

One more Hallowe’en night is taking place at The Garden Nile Front with DJ Nada. Another oriental night is taking place at Rawi Bar & Restaurant, where Linda will shake it ‘til you lose it. Back to the hot spinners, Soul M is hitting The Tap Maadi with his latest RnB & hip-hop mixes, while at The Tap East, DJ Anis will be shuffling through his pop tunes. On the west side of the city, The Tap West is hosting a night of nothing but house music with the Canadian DJ Heavy Pins, as well as local talents ABD & A-Squared; and Cairo Jazz Club 610 is getting Mohasseb for a progressive house set throughout the night.

On Friday, you can hit Cairo Jazz Club, where Richard R. will be blasting his house, techno, and trance music. After that, DJ Sebzz will keep you on your feet with his sick house mixes for the rest of the night! Black 8, Hossam Jamaica, and Heather Hunt will be lighting it up at The Garden Nile Front with their awesome music.

We’re not done yet! Gŭ Lounge is throwing another Hallowe’en night party, featuring Mahmoud El Laithy, so if that doesn’t keep you shaking it all night long, we don’t know what will! All the way across town, it’s Friday Fever at Cairo Jazz Club 610 where Alak Jackson is here all the way from Paris, to keep you partying all night long with his crazy beats, and DJ A.K. will be providing you with some hip-hop and RnB tunes. The Tap West is bringing you DJ Doggy Dog to kick off the night, so you can warm up the dance floor before DJ Feedo gets there and turns the place upside down. That’s not the end of it; The Tap East is here to serve you some house tunes with DeebJR & Nakhla, while Medic, and Jack will be at The Tap Maadi.

Just when you thought you were done with partying for the weekend, Cairo has more up its sleeve on Saturday. You can kick off your day with a brunch at Cairo Jazz Club 610, over the tunes of the very jazzy Gypsy Jazz project, which will be bringing you some all-time favourite songs by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Later, Hot Oasis will have his first performance at the club, with nothing but psychedelic tunes, and Arrab will follow up with his mixes of house music.

The Garden Nile Front & Gŭ Lounge are bringing you the last of the Hallowe’en parties, featuring DJ Hadeer Adel and Mostafa Hagag respectively. Also, The Taps are hosting some epic parties in each of their branches, with the spinner Kashouty playing eclectic sets of house, RnB and hip-hop tunes at The Tap East; while The Tap Maadi hosts Sewwes on the decks, and this man doesn’t define his music by genres, but plays whatever gets you to swing. Back to the west side of the city, The Tap West is bringing you another DJ who plays a number of genres: house, hip-hop, and RnB, it’s DJ Teddy. Back to the east side of the city, Cairo Jazz Club is back with its L’Oriental parties featuring the Sudanese folklore singer Asia Madani.
