This is the weekend of lovers, and of lonesome out there too who love solitude, their pets, friends, family and haven’t found the one. From lovie dovie vibes to anti-Valentine’s vibes, we bring you the hottest parties this weekend.
We kick it off with Thursday night’s parties. CJC is bringing some of the best cover bands in the capital to reciprocate the love for its loyal guests: we have the Rolling Stones’ tribute band, the Woodpeckers, the pop cover band, Funk Off, and Amro & the Big Bang Boogie’s jazzy covers.
The Garden Nile Front, however, is having it a bit different with an Anti-Valentine’s Party that will feature DJ Nada. Speaking of oriental vibes, Gu Lounge & 24K are bringing you some of the best belly dancers; DJs Shark & Kajo will be hitting the decks at Gu Lounge, while EssamKarika will be up on 24K’s stage singing some of his best sah3by hits.
Rolling to the west side of the city, The Tap West is going all cheesy on us with some pop hits by Cheesballs and Ahmet Kilic; and CJC 610 is bringing Oriol Calvo all the way from Ibiza, and Manu Gonzalez, as well as our local talented spinner, Omar Sherif.
We are still on the west side folks, for it will be popping there on Friday. Kick your day off with some chill tunes by Omar Emara and eat some delicious food at CJC 610’S Firday Brunch. At night, CJC 610 is brining DJ Feedo to the decks. Few blocks away, The Tap West is bringing the roof down with some electro fusions by the duo spinners Dubsy & Gaser, and DJ Mobbz.
Back to the east side, CJC will be serving you some B2B house tunes, courtesy of two of the hottest local talents, Mohasseb and Ashmawy. Gu Lounge, on the other hand, is looking to spread the love with their Valentine’s WKND Party, which will feature DJs Shark and Kajo, and the belly dancers.
Elsewhere, 24K has the belly dancer Linda as their main act, and later, DJs Tommy and Peto will be up on the decks spinning some hot records. The east side is still on fire with R&B tunes, courtesy of DJs Goblin & Soul M at The Garden Nile Front; meanwhile, Mr. Arafa and Ayman Nageeb will be playing the best commercial hits at The Tap East. For Friday, you still have one more option: an Elektrolive night at The Tap Maadi with house duo, DJs Ellol & Solly.
The weekend quickly ends, but we hope the love vibes will keep roaming around every inch of the capital. On Saturday, CJC will be hosting Africairo with their afrobeats and oriental fusions. Speaking of Oriental, Gu Lounge is still lit with oriental vibes, but this time they are bringing you the much famed sha3by singer, Saad ElSoghiar.
If you are looking for some commercial vibes, hit The Tap East and groove to the best pop hits with DJ Kashouty. Elsewhere, The Tap Maadi is bringing you some unique vinyl record spinning with Purplpitch.
We end it with two more parties happening over the quieter side of the capital, where the One Four Five band & DJ Bakir will be hitting CJC 610’s Saturday Brunch, and Spade of Hearts will be up on the stage playing some jazzy tunes at night at The Tap West.
