Just because we introduced you to a whole bunch of midweek parties, doesn’t mean that we have forgotten about the weekend. The weekend was made for partying and, this time round, it’s even harder to choose where to go.
The work hours on Thursday will finally end, but don’t get too excited to go home as there are six different parties for you to choose from! One of those parties may require a trip to Sahl Hashish for a weekend getaway, where Bus Stop - Sahl Hashish is giving you a mix of everything at “The Blender” party with DJ K. Habashy.
Speaking of trips, Just Emma & Miyagi will be triggering a hypnotic trip at Cairo Jazz Club 610.
Another live performance is taking place at Fairmont Nile City. Blues isn’t just his name, or his type of music, it’s in his nature! Hisham Blues is back at Saigon Restaurant and Lounge this Thursday, with a special selection of his tunes.
Because a party isn’t a party until you move your body, Cairo Jazz Club will be bringing its goers Screwdriver! Also, DJ Aly Goede will be on duty at The Tap Maadi. Meanwhile, DJ Feedo is taking over the decks at The Tap West.
And to make sure you keep dancing, Zawzaw is heading to The Tap East, and Karkeeb will be taking over the stage with their folk, oriental pop music at The Tap East as well.
Friday is about having brunch and enjoying late night parties at your favourite venues. First off, Cairo Jazz Club & Cairo Jazz Club 610 are hosting their brunch events, starting at 2 pm. The Tap West will also be hosting brunch over the tunes of Danny Malak.
Late at night, the Basement – Urban Pub is hosting “El Badrom”; every Friday of this month, you can enjoy a series of the hottest Arabic 90’s hits at this venue.
On the other hand, Aguzi & Fahim return to Cairo Jazz Club, with their sick beats. Swiss DJ Mucho Stylez will also be hitting Cairo Jazz Club, with some of his tech house tunes. Elsewhere, at The Tap East, Misty and Kareem Auf will be spinning your heads all night long.
For an overdose of uniqueness, Bella Figura is inviting you all for another psychedelic experience, where Jannik Weber is bringing his Arabic, sea and mountain influenced sounds to decks. Nad Passion and Shero will also be joining him to drop some beats and treats.
Last but not least, Mizology will be mixing up some electro beats, and Ellol will also be bringing some house beats at The Tap Maadi.
Saturday morning kicks off with Cairo Jazz Club & Cairo Jazz Club 610 hosting brunch (you know just in case you had missed out on Friday’s brunch). At Cairo Jazz Club's brunch you will enjoy some tasty food, over the tunes of Omar Kay and Hassan Abu Allam. At night, El Dor El Awal band will take to the stage at Cairo Jazz Club for a live and jazzy performance.
Another delicious afternoon will be taking place at The Taps: one will be held over the tunes of Shehab Kasseb at The Tap West, and another with be held over the tunes of Tamer Auf, Man-O, and Deeb DJ at The Tap East from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.
These are only a few of the events taking place this weekend across the capital – check out the Cairo Gossip calendar for more.
