If you think the past couple of days ruined any chances for you enjoying the weekend, you are in the wrong! Come the rain, comes the sunshine too! These weekend parties will wash away the gloom of the dark-dark clouds, and are bringing back the joy to our lives, once again. Want to know what Cairo has up its sleeves for you? Check this!
Starting off with Thursday, Cairo Jazz Club is ending Thursday Night Live this month in a jazzy way with The One Four Five band; while DJ Shiha will be serving tech house music for a night you shouldn’t miss at Cairo Jazz Club 610. The WKND party is still going on at Gu Bar with their favourite belly dancer Roxana and the drummer Auxido. Another belly dancer, Karina will be moving her hips at Music Zone, over the beats of DJs Rika, Migoo and Bassem.
On the other hand, the famous DJunkie will conquer The Tap West, while DJ AK is bringing The Tap East back to the future. Groove Station and Chiati are blasting another kind of Thursday at Zigzag. And, DJs Jimmy and Hazem are taking the night to a whole new level at 24K.
Lastly, if you’re in the mood for some insanity, then head to The Garden Nile Front for their Insane Live party with DJs Hala B, Marouane El - Boushi, and FuZzy.
On Friday, you can go a bit early with a brunch at The Tap East, over acoustic tunes of DJs Sobhy and Khaled El Agaty, or at The Tap West with Danny Malak; both serve great food and greater music.
Because the night comes with its grooves, French DJ/Producer Zajazza will be visiting Cairo Jazz Club 610 and will surely fire it up with some funk/hip hop tunes! Strawberry Swings are still running their Coldplay tribute with their irresistible vocals, and this time they’re heading to The Tap Maadi. Elsewhere, Karakeeb and Kashouty will blow up your Friday night with their unique Arabic Pop Rock at The Tap East. The Basement - Urban Pub will light it up ― as usual ― with the 90’s hits on their Fel Badrom night.
As the weekend ends, heading to Cairo Jazz Club 610 on a Saturday morning isn’t even optional, it’s a must! They will be serving the best BBQ delicacies, and a mix of the best chill music by Farida El Gueretly, Bluezophrenia, and Hashem.
Gu Bar, the masters of oriental nights, return with their Heshek Beshek event, bringing Amina to ride her famous hantoor; and belly dancer Sahar to shimmy over some sha3by tunes. Basement – Urban Pub is still leaving you the choice to either sing or hear somebody else sing at their Karaoke Night. And, Cairo Jazz Club is doubling the shivers by bringing Nour Project and Mohamed Sorour to their stage.
These are only a few of the events taking place this weekend across the capital – check out the Cairo Gossip calendar for more.
