Everyone’s favourite Egyptian actress of all time, Yousra, just received one more recognition of her incredible addition to the entertainment scene. The veteran actress attended the JOY Entertainment Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, last night and received an honorary award for her remarkable career.

In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, JOY Entertainment Forum seeks to build and develop the entertainment scene in the Kingdom. The forum was created to bring together entertainment leaders from all around the world in order to create new opportunities. In that sense, the two-day event, ending today, brings global entertainment pioneers closer together, offering growth opportunities through an exhibition, various workshops, speeches, and more. The aim of this is to build a stronger connection between all entertainment entities to come out with something even more significant.

Besides our beloved Yousra, last night’s opening ceremony was attended by multiple entertainment legends such as Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Shahrukh Khan, and Jason Momoa. And of course, the event wouldn’t have been the same without glamorous celebrity interviewer, Raya Abi Rached.

Yousra is an extraordinary actress; so, it’s no surprise she was recognised last night. She is considered an icon not just in Egypt, but the entire Middle East, for having a massive artistic influence on the region. Let’s not forget that she has received over 50 awards in recognition for her work as a UNDP goodwill ambassador. That’s, of course, aside from the many awards she has received in regional and international film festivals.

We’re super proud of having iconic talents and film mentors such as Yousra to represent Egypt. Congratulations, Yousra! Here’s to more awards and achievements!
