The Cairo Opera House Ballet Company proudly presents its new show, Cleopatra Ballet. The new production, that’s entirely by the Cairo Opera House, will be showing from the 15th to the 18th of October at the main theatre.

As the name suggests, the ballet follows the famed story of Cleopatra and Mark Antony. With all the platonic love, war, defeat, and tragedy the story holds, we’re definitely expecting an intense performance. After all, ballet is one of the most expressive forms of art.

Cleopatra Ballet is directed by Armenia Kamel, while the orchestra will be led by music composer, Mohamed Saad Basha. Meanwhile, the choreography is by José Perez, assisted by René de Cardenas.

The Cairo Opera House Ballet Company has been blessing us with its brilliant art since 1966. Performing on its hometown’s stage and at other opera houses around the world, ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote, the ballet company has never failed to impress. It’s no stranger to mindblowing performances, and we’re sure this one will be no different.
