With Ahmed Hayman and Reem Ossama striking again, surprising us to this day with their beautiful works of art, it’s about time to talk about their latest project, “Dear Future World”. But first, let us tell you all about the creative couple.

In 2016, Egyptian photographer, Ahmed Hayman, and his beloved wife and filmmaker, Reem Ossama, founded Beit El Sura; a photography and videography school, which also happens to be a studio and a gallery. The pair have been contributing to the art scene with all they’ve got, and after El Gouna Film Festival’s (GFF) 2nd edition, in particular, one of their projects went viral. Remember the Dramatic Portraits series? Yes, that was it. Hayman’s cinematic shots of celebrities and influential figures who attended the event blew everyone’s minds, and Ossama was there to document it all.

This time, the heartfelt project shed more light on the talented filmmaker’s video skills, while the photographer partner captured still moments of it all. Dear Future World is a journey into the thoughts of some of the Arab cinema’s influential figures. During the 3rd edition of GFF, celebrities were invited to the duo’s studio at TU Berlin Campus once again. This time, they were asked to pour their hearts out, share their fears, and send a message to the future world.

Dear Future World tackled topics ranging from environmental pollution and the notoriety of technology to child abuse and injustice. The project featured many influential figures such as Hend Sabri, Mona Zaki, Riham Abdelghafour, Sherif Moneer, Tara Emad, Amina Khalil, Marwan Hamed, Mohamed Farrag, Passant Shawky, Aly Kassem, Rosaline Elbay, and more. Each wrote a letter from the heart, and with simple props, their astonishing acting skills, and genuine voice-overs, powerful messages were delivered.
