Rejection hurts, right? Well, it turns out that from a macho man's perspective, hurting takes a whole new level. As we rang in the new year, everyone woke up on the first day of 2020 to a new song by none other than everybody's favourite funny guy, Tameem Youness. Salmonella is all about an insecure dude and his insane reaction after being rejected.

Tameem gained popularity after his hit YouTube show, Raseeni, where he made fun of anything and everything. However, he truly took social media by storm back in 2018 when he released his first-ever song, Enti Ay Kalam. With three words only, he managed to invade every single party, wedding, and car ride in Egypt, and ever since, we've been waiting impatiently for a new song. Now, the wait is finally over, and in less than 24 hours, the music video garnered 220,777 views on YouTube.

As the song went viral, some Twitter users opened fire on Youness as they believe that his songs are taking a turn against women, which they think is kind of disrespectful. Tameem responded to the accusations, saying that he never meant to disrespect women whatsoever. In fact, he was making fun of men's insecurities revealed after rejection. He then added that he loves joking and he will continue doing so.

Putting everything aside, the song is actually catchy and the music video is definitely funny; simple, but funny. And of course, Esseily being featured was a great addition, and surprise, to the song. It's noteworthy that the song is written and directed by Tameem.
