In the bizarre land of Egyptian Twitter, people are debating hard on dating issues, like who would pay for dates. We have no idea who started this whole thing; however, it is a relatable dilemma that is quite thought-provoking. It’s stressful if you are going on a date with someone you don’t know, and you have no idea if you should pick up the check, split the bill or just let them pay. Seriously, there should be a definitive rule for that!

On a slightly different note, this Egyptian tweeter noticed the whole trending debate on dates and tweeted that most people who argue about the matter are actually not going on dates! After all, it’s only single, dateless people who get anxious about such issues.

This Twitter gal replied to her Tweet, proving our thoughts right and saying that if all of these people are going on dates, they wouldn’t be so busy debating on Twitter! Good point, right? How about we keep the stress to when we actually have a date coming up?

Someone was jokingly offended by this take and replied that it’s sad to be both dateless and talking about dates! We totally understand that talking about things is comforting, but it’s always easier said than done–situations like these are real nail-biters!

On a more serious note, another tweeter brought some closure to the original debate, saying that there are tons of financial scenarios that can come to mind before the actual date, so things should go smoothly because it doesn’t really matter who pays. The best outcome of a date is the actual time spent!
