Since the year is almost over, we’ve been focusing on something that’s not the parties we’re going to—our resolution for the New Year! What has us in a state of curiosity about these resolutions is the fact that, well, we don’t know who even follows them and actually ends up changing their life for the better. At least, we didn’t until now.

Don’t be scared if your curiosity is as piqued as ours! We just decided to change our strategy a little bit. See, we bring you the weirdest topics and fights that pop up on Twitter with our Captured Through Tweets series every week, but this time, we decided to share a Twitter thread about people who actually did follow their resolutions. So cheer them on as you read below!

It’s this tweet that started the whole thread:

We’d love to give this person a round of applause! What an impressive list of achievements to be proud of by the beginning of 2022, right? It’s not easy to go out of your comfort zone, but it’s always worth it.

Here’s a shout out for all those who have been battling mental illnesses! We’re aware of just how hard that can be, which is why we had to include this tweet right here. After all, fighting for yourself and winning is nothing short of miraculous.

It’s hard accepting yourself for who you are. Sure, “love yourself” sounds rather easy, but abiding by it is the total opposite. It takes a lot of hard work. Sometimes, you can even be your own enemy, which makes this resolution all the more special.

This person’s resolution inspired us to give ourselves time to grow. None of us is limited to a certain deadline or timeframe, and this is important to read and know. As long as you’re trying, you’re doing just fine. The New Year’s resolutions are a great way to start your journey into a “new you”, but you can still take your time in achieving your goals.

Despite how hard the year has been on some of us, we should all follow this person’s path and remember that there’s always something good, no matter how small. We wish anyone who has been going through hard times has a better year ahead!

Whether you’ve achieved resolutions from 2006 or 2021, achievements are achievements. The time that you actually achieve them doesn’t really matter as long as you’re proud of yourself. Other goals can be challenging, but it doesn’t hurt to give it another try, right?

Looking out for your own comfort is really important, as this resolution-doer shows us. If you have been trying to please those around you, focus on trying to please yourself instead!

As we wrap up the best of this thread, here’s a special message this tweet made us remember—IT’S NEVER TOO LATE! We know how disappointed you can feel about yourself and the obstacles standing in your way, but focus on one thing: starting.

We’re proud of everyone who has been giving their all to achieving their goals and dreams, and we wish that they never stop doing what they’re doing!
