Insurance companies assess the risk and charge premiums for different types of insurance coverage. If an insured event happens and the person suffers damage, the company pays them up to the agreed amount of the insurance policy. So naturally, someone on Egyptian Twitter had to ask why we can’t make that happen with relationships?

The reasoning is that most people need compensation for the emotional and even the financial damage caused by ending relationships. After this idea was proposed on Egyptian Twitter, the people immediately loved it! Even though it’ll never happen, everyone really wants relationship insurance companies to become a thing.

Someone replied that they liked the idea and want the compensation to be a trip, which is a reasonable idea for emotional damage, but what about the financial loss here? Shouldn’t be there some kind of cash-back service as well?

Another one suggested that the insurance company should pay for the therapy sessions! It’s becoming very common for some people to need therapy after ending a toxic relationship or even a friendship. So, who should pay for that but insurance, right?

On the other hand, someone wants compensation for salaries and thought this tweet was a good place to pitch the idea! We think it’s an even better idea, frankly. Imagine if you have an insurance policy for salary deduction—think about how chill your life would be!
